The Cheerleading Worlds 2022 was one for the books!! The divisions were tough, and the outcomes shocked most of us! From 100+ non tumble teams, a fire alarm during Small Coed awards, and a disqualification for the Woodlands Elite G.I Janes…I had no idea what the rest of the event was going to look like!!

MACS Senior Starz have officially joined the “elite three”, or should we say “elite four” now, by winning Senior Small Coed! Brandon Senior Black, Cali Smoed & Prodigy Midnight are the only other teams to win that division in the last decade! 

Twitter was in an uproar during the Senior Small All Girl division! Aqua came and HIT and got a well-deserved bronze globe! ICE Lady Lightning and Cheer Extreme SSX fought it out and ICE came out on top! Next year will be interesting…

The California All Stars Smoed left the Small Coed division and went undefeated their first time ever in Global Coed while CheerSport Great Whites had the greatest comeback from 3rd to 1st! Even during a four-month lockdown in Canada, they came and got those rings!

As a proud ECE Alumni, shout out to the Bombshells for placing second in the world in the Senior Medium Division! 

The Senior Large All Girl and Coed division had me holding my breath on day 2! I’m forever team Orange and TGLC so I could barely watch while both these divisions performed! 

With 3 out of the 4 Large Senior All Girl teams hitting, we finally get to see who the best of the best really is!! That was a division I will never forget! Large Coed, ATE!! All three teams put out ICONIC routines and showed us what true cheerleading really is!! Imagine what worlds would look like if every team put on a show like Top Gun TGLC & GLOC! #TKO #MAGIC

With that being said, let’s look at this year’s WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
